A striking vintage ceramic leopard in the Art Deco style, probably made in Italy between the 1950s and 1960s.
Rather than aiming for realism, the sculptor created a highly stylised interpretation of the animal. The powerful muscles, elegant proportions and gracefully arched neck express the leopard's strength, confidence and natural character.
