A striking French cocktail serving tray by Jean Couzon, dating from the late 1970s–1980s, crafted in high-quality 18/10 stainless steel. Designed as a bar and entertaining accessory, the piece features a divided layout with four compartments surrounding a central bowl, suitable for appetisers, olives, nuts or other cocktail accompaniments.
The dramatic handles, modelled as intertwined fish or dolphin-like figures, draw inspiration from motifs long present in French decorative arts, recalling medieval and heraldic marine imagery. They give the piece an unmistakably theatrical, retro-luxury presence. Combined with the clean reflective surface and architectural compartmental design, the tray embodies the confident decorative language of late 20th-century French entertaining culture.
A striking piece of French barware, suited to cocktail entertaining, aperitif service or stylish display in a retro-inspired bar, restaurant or hospitality interior.
